Alpine Jokkad collecting honey and bee silk

Bees on Ke Bakil are prime sources of both honey and silk for both the plains Jokka and the alpine Jokka.

Honey is a by-product of bees made and gathered before they weave their silk cocoons. It is used both as a food ingredient and included in the making of candies.

Bee SilkEdit

Silk is considered a luxury clothing material, traded in by several Jokku Houses, including Laisira and Sadlan. The quality of the silk is affected by the flowers the bees visit before they weave the silk and also the preparation given to the fabric, such as strand thickness, weave tightness, and dye ingredients. The silk may be made into scarves or clothing or simply traded as is.
