The Parable of the Broken Pot is an Ai-Naidari parable and has many versions. This version of the Parable of the Broken Pot first appeared in chapter 21 of Black Blossom. This is Thirukedi's favorite version of the parable.

Reck this. Once there was a pot that served well, and served long. It had some cracks, as was to be expected in a pot of such age and consistent use. It knew those cracks were growing, and feared that it would burst. But that pot continued to serve despite its fears, until one day it broke.
And then it discovered that in breaking, it was now free… for it could never be broken again.
